Expect Extraordinary Client Care at American Animal Hospital
Mon, 08/22/2011 - 21:26 | by aahWhen a client seeks a veterinarian, they not only seek the medical knowledge and skills of a veterinarian, they seek a "home" for their pets' care where they feel welcome, comfortable, and familiar every time they visit. Veterinary medicine is similar to pediatric medicine in that our furry patients cannot speak for themselves to tell us how they feel and what's going on. Summer has arrived. While we welcome the warmer weather and sunshine, we also know that this is thunderstorm and firework season. Many dogs and cats across Wisconsin are terrified by these noisy events. While most pets quietly hide beneath the bed, some become destructive in their mission to escape their fears. As pet owners what can we do to help? Sadly soothing them only reinforces that they have reason to be fearful. Fortunately, there are options to help.
